About Us
Edmund McMillen
Edmund McMillen is the indie game creator behind The Binding of Isaac and the designer of Four Souls. He started his career making flash games on Newgrounds, leading to him creating the highly successful game, Super Meat Boy.
Since then, Edmund has focused much of his efforts on The Binding of Isaac and its card game. Throughout the development of The Binding of Isaac and its expansions, he has released several other games and card games, including The End is Nigh, The Legend of Bumbo, The Basement Collection and Tapeworm.
Many characters and concepts from Edmund’s other games have cameos and references in both The Binding of Isaac and Four Souls.
Maestro Media is the genius publisher behind The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls, its merchandise, and expansions. The company exploded onto the scene with a massive $6.7M Kickstarter campaign for The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem. At the time, it was the 6th largest tabletop game campaign in Kickstarter history.
Requiem is currently being manufactured and will be released in the summer of 2022.

Hello, I’m Sean, a web developer from the UK. I designed this site, and do a lot of the backend stuff for the site. the importing of cards, programming of the Deckbuilder and the like.
I came from the Portal community, then hopped into Minecraft (where I managed to get Cake into the game!), then into the FNaF community, where I made a small lore website.
I made the original Four Souls Card Repository because frankly, I got annoyed at the state of the old FSS website. So, I decided to do something about it. I cracked out my deck and started to document each card, individually.
In my spare time, I pretty much just watch YouTube. I’ve sadly not been able to play Four Souls that much due to the pandemic. But, hopefully, that will change as things wind down.
Yuggy
Charlie is the Rules Tzar for the site, and is responsible for ensuring the rules and FAQ sections are clear and up to date. He has spent many hours playing Four Souls, and many more answering ruling questions on Twitter and Reddit ever since the first Kickstarter.
He also helped the fantastic Jon Paull (@jonzo11) when he was making his comprehensive rules guide – a guide that remains brilliant and was used as a starting point for the rules on this website.
When he isn’t playing Four Souls, Charlie should probably be focusing on his medical degree. He can also be found hanging out with friends, writing for the RPG campaign he GMs, reading, and playing football.
egghorse
Egghorse is a card archivist for the website and a Requiem play-tester with a notable attention to detail where card text, artists and trivia are concerned. Much of the information here regarding said artists and trivia has been taken from the Four Souls card list spreadsheet that they maintain.
When not playing Four Souls or The Binding of Isaac videogame, egghorse is generally busy working towards their Mechanical Engineering degree, which threatens everyday to drive them over the brink.
